Descripción y detalle de las actividades

  • Responsible for the daily upload and maintenance of Bills of Materials (BOMs) in Annex 24, including validation of components, quantities, and units of measure.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze INEGI and subcontracting (Submaquila) reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with Authorized Economic Operator (AEO/NEEC) and CTPAT program requirements, including auditing and monitoring of related processes.
  • Support internal and external audits related to Traffic, Customs, and Trade Compliance operations.
  • Reconcile, identify, and track company fixed assets, including machinery and equipment.
  • Responsible for the daily download, review, and analysis of customs declarations (Pedimentos) in Annex 24.
  • Participate in customs, traffic, and logistics improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Verify the accuracy of tariff classifications assigned by customs brokers based on the function, use, and technical characteristics of materials, components, machinery, and equipment.
  • Review and validate the country of origin of imported materials and finished goods.
  • Review and approve invoices from freight carriers and customs brokers, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
  • Identify and report potential customs compliance violations, risks, or irregularities to the Traffic & Customs Manager and management staff.
  • Monitor and report supply chain incidents that may impact customs compliance or operational continuity.
  • Provide support for import and export operations related to special requirements, urgent shipments, or business needs.

Experiencia y requisitos

  • Bachelor's degree in international Trade, Customs Administration, International Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IMMEX manufacturing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Customs Compliance operations, including regulatory management, controls, and documentation requirements.
  • Experience supporting and participating in CTPAT audits and compliance initiatives.
  • Conversational English proficiency, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented approach.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
