Descripción y detalle de las actividades

Quality Management System

  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management
  • System in compliance with applicable standards
  • Ensure compliance with corporate quality policies, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. Lead internal, external, and customer audits.

Manufacturing Quality

  • Ensure effective quality controls are implemented across high-speed cable assembly processes.
  • Monitor and drive improvements in key quality metrics including First Pass Yield (FPY), customer PPM, scrap, and rework rates.
  • Ensure proper implementation of quality tools such as SPC, Control Plans, and PFMEA.

Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement

  • Lead structured root cause analysis using methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, and Fishbone analysis.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions to eliminate recurring issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes.

Customer Quality

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality concerns.
  • Manage customer complaints and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Represent the plant during customer audits and quality reviews.

Supplier Quality

  • Ensure incoming materials and components meet quality standards.
  • Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Support supplier qualification and performance improvement initiatives.

Leadership and Team Development

  • Lead and develop the quality engineering and quality technician teams.
  • Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the plant.
  • Provide coaching and training to cross-functional teams on quality processes and best practices.

Experiencia y requisitos

         • Education bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in quality within electronics or cable assembly manufacturing environments.
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing quality teams.


Technical Knowledge

  • Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949 preferred)
  • Quality Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, MSA, SPC)
  • Manufacturing processes related to cable assemblies or electronic products
  • Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
