We are seeking a motivated, dynamic leader, ready to take on challenges and responsibilities in a highly dynamic work environment (high mix – low volume). This position requires a high level of responsibility, initiative, and confidence to lead from the front.
The role involves overseeing daily manufacturing operations such as machining, laser cutting, pneumatic presses, bench drilling, manual finishing, painting, and welding (primarily steel and aluminum).
This position must ensure adherence to production plans, accurate management of work-in-process inventory, and efficient resource allocation to guarantee the achievement of key performance metrics: safety, quality, on-time delivery, productivity, and continuous improvement.
Experiencia y requisitos
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in manufacturing environments (Metalworking / Sheet Metal background highly preferred).
- Intermediate level of English
Technical Skills:
Hands-on experience with press brakes, machining, welding, and industrial painting processes.
Proven track record in personnel management (60+ direct reports).
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and FMEA / Root Cause Analysis.
Key Responsibilities & Metrics:
Daily management and monitoring of KPI's: Safety, Quality, Productivity, 5S, Scrap, and Downtime.
