- Assures the supply and the adequate flow of material to comply with the production requirements.
- Supervises the materials control staff and assigns tasks to ensure a continuous workflow
- Create and maintain with engineering all items and BOM in ERP system.
- Supervises the different warehouses and controls the flow of materials and finished goods.
- Schedules deliveries based on production forecasts, market conditions, material substitutions, production line as well as storage and handling capacities.
- Audits material lists for compliance to the company’s standard practices in regards to the use of parts and materials.
- Prepares and/or authorizes timely requisitions to the purchasing department for raw materials and parts.
- Manage MRP system within ERP system.
- Expedites purchases that are delayed or in response to changes in the production plan.
- Develops, modifies and maintains standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Appraises the performance of subordinates and recommends the appropriate development plans.
Experiencia y requisitos
Requirements:
Education
- Professional degree (Industrial Engineer or other Engineering degree) desirable with APICS Certification or a certificate program in Materials Management.
Experience
- 3-5 within inventory control.
English-Advanced, reading and writing that allow for clear communication within the company and with outside customers.
Computer- Intermediate/Basic (Use of Office: Word, Excel, Power Point, Etc.)
Profile Musts Advanced ERP experience required with experience in MRP
3 to 5 Years experience inventory control; Proven cross functional leadership skills
Advanced English Purchasing experience
