Descripción y detalle de las actividades
- Ensures compliance with applicable local and international customs legislation (legal framework, tariff and non-tariff restrictions, continuous updating in Foreign Trade applicable to operations and customs compliance) Analyzes the different tariff benefits and their applications
- Treaties of free trade (PROSEC). Application of Import/Export procedures and customs compliance with his/her teamwork to ensure a fiscal and foreign trade shield to the site.
- Plans and Directs the Import/ Export procedures and follow-up of Materials and End Products to comply with the client's requirements
- Responsible for completing all procedures of foreign trade in Government agencies such as: Ministry of Economy, SAT, SAGARPA, SEMARNAT, COFEPRIS, FDA, FCC, USDA, etc.
- Supervise personnel (assistants, clerks, specialists, drivers, etc) and evaluates the performance of all personnel under his/her charge.
- Promotes the development of personnel under his/her charge, ensuring alignment with the strategy of the Department.
- Coordinates teamwork, solve problems and makes decisions.
- Supervises Import/Export and/or Customs Compliance Operations as appropriate.
- Responsible for follow-up of procedures established for warehouses in foreign countries.
- Responsible for Mexican and Foreign Custom Brokers.
- Ensure integrity and adequate use within his/her teamwork according to procedures of Annex 24 (Inventory Systems of Foreign Trade). and Annex 31 (Control System of Credit Accounts and Guarantees)
- Maintain continuous communication with different departments to ensure the flow of materials and maintain the customer service required by the site.
- Supports in maintaining the plan to develop and improve key identifiers (KPIs) for the logistic process identifying their need.
Experiencia y requisitos
- 5+ years within Customs Department. International and National Compliance
- Supervise personnel Annex 24 -Inventory Systems of Foreign Trade
- Annex 31 Control System of Credit Accounts and Guarantees,
- Use of SEER Trafico inventory Software
- Intermediate/Basic use of OFFICE: Word, Excel, Power Point, etc and other linked programs, Annex 24, 30, database,
- ERP, Data Stage/Glosa
- English Intermediate
- Additional tasks to ensure the Import/ Export Department is in compliance Visa and/or ability to legally travel to United States
