- Manages through subordinate managers and supervisors all the activities of administration and production, applying knowledge in plant layout and the production capabilities of each department.
- Directly responsible for the production program and for the levels of efficiency, observing the requirements established.
- Supervises production reports and completion dates.
- Supervises and evaluates procedures designed to upgrade production methods, equipment utilization and the quality of finished goods.
- Plans Investigations to determine the effectiveness of manpower utilization and projects labor and staffing needs.
- Formulates, negotiates and manages the department’s objectives and budgets, as well as the strategies and action plans to achieve those objectives.
Experiencia y requisitos
- 10+ years in manufacturing leadership, with at least 5 years as a plant Manager.
- Experience in construction is highly preferred
- Engineering or professional degree or Equivalent experience.
- English and Spanish communication capacity is critical (fluid conversations and clear written communication in both languages).
- US Visa required.
- Ability to inspire, manage and develop a diverse administrative and production teams.
- Strong knowledge of production workflows, materials management and quality assurance.
- Implement Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to optimize workflows, minimize waste, and scale efficiency.
- Execute cost-reduction strategies and financial reporting to ensure long-term profitability.
- Using data to monitor KPIs, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements.
- Clear and effective communication with cross-functional teams (engineering, architecture, procurement, etc.).
- Expertise in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Organized and detail-oriented, good leadership and teaching skills.
- Requires Knowledge of Manufacturing Systems, GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices), MRP, MTM, New
- Product introduction process, re-engineering processes, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, cost reduction, project management, ISO/QS, environmental and Safety standards etc.
