Job Summary

The Process Technician acts as a representative of the company and is responsible for ensuring that the machinery operates efficiently and safely. It ensures that all production processes are kept under control, meet established standards and achieve optimal performance at all times.

It is responsible for starting machines and attending to alarms of machinery, robots, thermoregulators and secondary equipment as a first response. Diagnoses and resolves problems related to machines, molds, materials and processes, reporting to the Production Supervisor any situation that requires special attention.

Properly perform and document process checks, tooling reports, and poka-yoke checklists. Performs mold change activities that are not performed by the Mold Preparer and keeps thermoregulators, robot control stations, and other auxiliary equipment in good condition and order.

It promotes the proper care of equipment and the correct disposal of purging materials. It collaborates with the areas of Engineering, Tooling, Quality and Maintenance to meet production and continuous improvement objectives. Complies with company policies and procedures, applicable safety regulations, maintains high standards of order and cleanliness in their work area, and performs any other activity related to the position assigned to them.
