Sr. Molding Engineer (Pacifico, Tijuana)

Under indirect supervision, this position solves complex engineering problems by coordinating and executing activities within an engineering specialty (industrial, electrical, electronics, mechanical, chemical, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as Project Manager for new product projects

• Develop and document project timelines and activities

• Lead test runs, measurements, and analyze results with the project team

• Provide technical and economic production data in meetings

• Deliver improvements and test results to Marketing

• Investigate process-related claims

• Design necessary project drawings

• Create and update BOMs and work instructions

• Maintain Engineering SOPs

• Perform cost calculations and product verification

• Lead product design changes

• Supervise engineers/technicians when applicable

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives
