POSITION SUMMARY

Strategic Buyer MTTJ Sourcing Sourcing & Supplier Management Sourcing & Supplier Management Team Lead MTTJ This position is embedded within the Regional Sourcing & Supply Americas team, supporting the development and optimization of the local unit’s supply chain. The Strategic Buyer will manage procurement activities for assigned commodity categories, including Fabricated Sheet Metal (FSM), Machined Parts (MP), Stamping, Extrusions, Plastic Injection Molding (PIM), Weldments, Assemblies, Electronics, Pneumatics, Chemicals, Adhesives, Cardboard, Foam, and other packaging materials. Responsibilities include sourcing, negotiating, and administering long-term supply agreements with a focus on cost reduction and supplier performance. The role may also involve managing outsourcing of production parts and insourcing of purchased components as needed. conduct market and commodity research to identify best practices, and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives. Key responsibilities encompass managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts for assigned commodities, driving cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with company policies and sustainability goals, and monitoring

market trends and supplier performance to mitigate risks and identify opportunities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Negotiate price, payment terms, and delivery terms for the assigned supplier base to meet yearly MPI goals, ensuring capacity and accurate forecasting. Set up and manage vendor contracts to achieve the best total cost while consistently pursuing cost reduction initiatives aligned with corporate targets.
