PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Create clear, complete and accurate engineering drawings from SolidWorks models, engineering markups, and design requirements to ensure proper fit, form and function of the design. Develop, refine, and maintain SolidWorks parts and assemblies in accordance with engineering and drafting standards. Execute the engineering change management process including updating CAD models, drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and related documentation. Support both in new product development projects and in re-design projects of existing products and sustaining engineering initiatives by developing production-ready designs, CAD models and documentation. Support the core team design practices such as Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Design to Value (DtV) to ensure proper manufacturability and cost effectiveness. Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, Product Management, and other stakeholders REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will be considered. Two Plus (2+) years of experience in CAD or mechanical design, preferably within a regulated manufacturing environment such as medical devices. Advanced proficiency with SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD software. Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, engineering change management processes, and structured engineering documentation. Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), materials, machining, molding, assembly processes, and Design for Manufacturability (DFM). Experience creating engineering drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and related product documentation. Fluent English

Qualifications and Requirements Experience: At least four years of proven estimating experience in structural steel, miscellaneous metals, ornamental iron, or custom architectural metalwork under United States construction standards. Preferred Qualifications-- Experience estimating both shop fabrication and field installation labor, equipment, and logistics. Familiarity with cross-border operations, transportation, customs, and freight costs between Mexico and California. Experience with model-based takeoffs or structural modeling software. Knowledge of residential, multifamily, and commercial construction projects in California. Experience developing value-engineering alternatives and identifying potential scope gaps or project risks. Experiencia práctica con pruebas de laboratorio y equipos analíticos . Experiencia en pruebas físicas y fisicoquímicas de productos cosméticos . Experiencia en pruebas de estabilidad, evaluación de productos, pruebas de materias primas y evaluación de lotes de producción . Experiencia en pruebas de compatibilidad de componente e integridad del sellado , incluyendo fugas, integridad del sistema de cierre del envase y desempeño de dispensación. Sólidas habilidades analíticas, de resolución de problemas y troubleshooting , con capacidad para identificar posibles causas de problemas relacionados con el producto o el proceso. Familiaridad con las normas y regulaciones relevantes de la industria, incluyendo NOM, ISO, ASTM y los requisitos regulatorios aplicables a productos cosméticos. Experiencia con software de análisis estadístico , como Minitab o JMP . Conocimiento de los requisitos de pruebas y regulación de productos cosméticos en México , incluyendo los requisitos aplicables de COFEPRIS .
