Maintain fluid interdepartmental communication to report on production progress, products, and quantities manufactured, and propose improvements as needed, thereby improving product quality, production times, and reducing costs. Ensure, in collaboration with the heads of the Safety, HR, and Quality Assurance departments, that initial and ongoing training is provided to production staff. Submit reports on production times and quantities, working hours, and efficiency to Plant Manager. Optimize industrial space, improving the flow of production processes, eliminating unnecessary movement of materials and labor. Coordinate and review the development, updating, and compliance with basic operating procedures and manufacturing techniques. Prepare, review, and maintain updated job descriptions for the personnel under their supervision. Coordinate the equipment preventive maintenance program with the Maintenance department. Optimize the use and utilization of human, material, and financial resources in accordance with company policies, standards, and technology. Conduct weekly safety audits to detect and reduce unsafe conditions and acts in the workplace. Update the Scoreboard weekly to ensure compliance with job indicators and communicate the results to the team. Carry out the activities required by the Quality Management System to comply with ISO 9001:2015. Attend the MT meeting to review pending tasks, action plans, and present the area's KPIs. Implement and prepare the daily operations report to maintain KPIs and make decisions for the area. Monitor and control the department's indicators to establish metrics and KPIs according to operational requirements.

Key responsibilities include supervising federal and state tax compliance such as income tax (ISR), value-added tax (VAT), and payroll-related obligations, as well as ensuring compliance with Mexican transfer pricing regulations applicable to maquiladora operations. The role coordinates Safe Harbor calculations in accordance with Mexican tax regulations, based on the applicable methodology of either 6.9% of assets or 6.5% of operating costs, and supports the preparation of transfer pricing documentation and annual tax filings. In addition, the position serves as a liaison with external tax advisors, auditors, and regulatory authorities to ensure accurate reporting and regulatory compliance. This role also leads the annual budgeting process and periodic financial forecasting, providing financial modeling and scenario analysis to support operational decision-making. Responsibilities include monitoring capital expenditures (CAPEX), ensuring proper asset capitalization, and analyzing working capital and cash flow performance to maintain financial stability. The position oversees internal and external audit processes and acts as the primary liaison between the plant and corporate finance teams, ensuring timely and accurate submission of financial reporting packages to corporate headquarters. Additionally, the role provides leadership to the accounting and finance team, supporting employee development, process improvements, and financial automation initiatives. The position promotes strong internal controls, compliance practices, and financial accountability while actively participating in the plant’s management team to support operational and strategic objectives.
