Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Process Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency with JIT, Poka Yoke, Kanban, Cell Layout, and other lean manufacturing principles. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including knowledge of probability, statistical analysis, and mathematical modeling. Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to process optimization scenarios. Expertise in process mapping, flow chart creation, and using problem-solving methodologies like 8D and root cause analysis. Knowledge of statistical methods, design of experiments, and process failure mode analysis (PFMEA). Ability to interpret complex instructions (written, oral, or diagrammatic) and adapt them to practical applications in process engineering. Proven experience in leading teams and collaborating with cross-functional departments. Knowledge of ESD program management and process transfer methods is a plus.
