Activities Here are some of the main activities you will be involved in: Manage a varied workload and prioritize effectively. Research, design, and develop manufacturing processes, including production flow, assembly methods and equipment. Prepare and maintain detailed layouts of buildings, machinery, and workstations. Coordinate manufacturing launches for new or revised products, setting goals, training team members, and evaluating outcomes. Design, develop, test, or source and cost‑justify tools, machinery, and equipment for improved manufacturing methods. Manage project issues, budgets, timelines, invoicing, and documentation, including CAPEX projects. Maintain statistical and financial records, working closely with finance teams. Collaborate positively with team members and production personnel. Actively participate in continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma tools. Design, optimize, and validate woodworking manufacturing processes: cutting, machining, structural assembly, and upholstery preparation. Improve assembly sequences to ensure structural integrity and dimensional accuracy. Analyze and improve material flow between woodworking, assembly, and upholstery to reduce bottlenecks. Define and standardize process parameters (joints, adhesive curing times, fastening methods). Support production teams in resolving fit, alignment, and structural strength issues. Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI), ensuring manufacturability. Develop work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Lead process capability studies and cycle‑time analyses. Support initiatives to reduce waste and rework. Requirements 3 years of experience in a similar role. English advanced Industrial Engineering or related field. Valid visa (preferred). Schedule availability according to plant needs. Experience in wood‑related manufacturing processes , such as furniture production, cabinetry, or any operation involving woodworking.
