Quality Assurance Engineer

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, architecture, or a related engineering/technical field. Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role, with a strong background in the construction or prefabricated building industry. Proven ability to read and interpret architectural blueprints and construction drawings. Demonstrated experience with construction site measurement processes and quality inspection techniques. Understanding of quality control methodologies and principles; familiarity with SPC is a plus. Bilingual (Spanish and English). Desired Skills: Experience with ISO 9001 or other quality management standards. Industry-specific experience in construction or prefabricated building (if not already covered). Knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations.

Maintenance technician

Experiencia y Requisitos: Título técnico o certificación en Mantenimiento Industrial, Electromecánica, Mecatrónica, Electricidad o un campo relacionado. Mínimo de 3-5 años de experiencia progresiva como Técnico de Mantenimiento en un entorno de fabricación o industrial. Experiencia previa en el sector de la construcción modular o en entornos de fabricación pesada es un plus. Habilidades Técnicas: Competencia en diagnóstico y reparación de sistemas mecánicos, eléctricos (PLCs, sistemas de control), hidráulicos y neumáticos. Sólido conocimiento de los principios y prácticas de mantenimiento preventivo. Capacidad para leer e interpretar manuales técnicos, esquemas y planos. Familiaridad con los procedimientos de seguridad industrial, incluyendo Lockout/Tagout (LOTO). Competencias: Fuertes habilidades analíticas y de resolución de problemas con atención al detalle. Structural – Project Engineer

Project Management: Serve as the Project Manager for structural prefabricated modular projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery. Coordinate project phases from inception through final integration, maintaining open communication with MDI Leadership. Design and Development: Partner with the DOMO Design and Development team to engineer standardized structural modules that enhance efficiency and minimize costs. Assist in converting structural designs into production-ready drawings with the MDI Engineering teams. Critically evaluate structural building designs for their impact on MDI module fabrication. Construction Oversight: Oversee on-site module assembly, ensuring compliance with quality and structural integrity standards. Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous reviews (EDR – Engineering Design Reviews) of final structural elements to ensure compatibility with blueprint specifications; internal & external. Process Control: Oversee the structural supply chain and manage construction costs, employing patented connection systems to enhance efficiency. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, construction, and legal teams to maintain project viability and regulatory compliance. Requirements: Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field 6-10 years in structural design, real estate development, or construction; at least 5 years in project management, ideally in modular or prefabricated environments Proficiency in structural design software (AutoCAD/Revit), project management tools (Smartsheet, MS Project, MS Office), and familiarity with building codes (IBC/CBC); reading and properly interpretate structural & architectural drawings Exemplary leadership and communication skills; adept at budgeting; capable of managing multiple projects under pressure and liaising with external consultants. Fluent bilingual in English and Spanish.
