Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Objective:

To support the quality assurance team in ensuring the consistent production of high-quality prefabricated modules at Domo Modular's manufacturing facility. This role involves contributing to the implementation and maintenance of quality systems, conducting inspections and tests, and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Support maintenance and documentation of the QMS, keeping procedures and records current.
• Perform inspections and tests of incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and finished modules to verify conformance with specifications.
• Record inspection results, identify non-conformances, and escalate issues for disposition.
• Collect and analyze quality metrics (defect rates, rework, use basic statistical methods to identify trends and root causes.
• Assist in investigations of non-conformances and support development and follow-up of corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, PDCA) and propose practical solutions to improve quality and efficiency.
• Maintain organized inspection records, test data, and CAPA documentation in line with document control.
• Coordinate with production, engineering, purchasing, and logistics to address quality concerns and supplier issues.
• Support audit preparations and assist in implementing audit findings.
• Help develop and deliver training and on-the-job coaching for inspection techniques and quality best practices.
