Qualifications: Education Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. CPA, CMA, MBA, or equivalent professional certification preferred. Experience Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles. At least 3–5 years in a leadership or Controller position. Experience within manufacturing, automotive, or maquiladora environments preferred. Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls. Advanced understanding of cost accounting and manufacturing finance. Knowledge of Mexican and U.S. accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance requirements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities. Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and financial software. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in multinational organizations. Knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and SOX compliance. Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JDE, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar. Bilingual English and Spanish proficiency.
