Problem identification and resolution skills • Commitment to eliminating all forms of waste • Ability to plan, prioritize and organize work without close supervision; ability to effectively handle multiple projects with track record of successful project completion • Consider information and evaluates possible courses of action and generates solutions to problems • Manage goals and high-quality work while maintaining a safe environment • Institute a culture of continuous improvement for quality and efficiency • Foster and promote an environment of collaboration • Maintain motivation and enthusiasm through development to drive a high-performance culture • Living the companies Mission and Core Values • Demonstrated ability to create and maintain strong business relationships • Ability to work independently, making sound decisions regarding daily functions/priorities while reporting non-routine decisions to Management • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills along with superior computer skills, i.e. SAP, BW, Excel, Word, PPTX. • Excellent communication and teaching skills, with a strong ability to rally employees and teams • Proven ability to adapt and manage effectively in a changing environment • Strong understanding of and commitment to manufacturing excellence • Must be precise with the highest focus on quality and the customer experience ACCEPTABLE TRAINING & EXPERIENCE: • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent (e.g. Business Administration) • Experience leading/facilitating multiple kaizen events/programs and/or key participant role in a large plant lean transformation initiative • Experience leading within a Lean environment • Six Sigma Certification preferred • Experience in manufacturing environment • Computer and analytical skills required • High degree of Management and Leadership skill experience • 3+ years’ experience leading and managing people, departments and organizations, with production/plant management leadership preferred.
