Qualifications & Experience Approximately 10+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing, engineering, quality, applications engineering, technical program management, supplier development, or related fields. Strong experience reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, manufacturing requirements, and complex RFQs. Strong knowledge of manufacturing sourcing, supplier capabilities, and quotation assessment. Practical experience in several of the following manufacturing processes: CNC machining, milling, and turning Precision metal and plastic components Injection molding and tooling Urethane casting 3D printing / additive manufacturing Prototype and bridge production Low- and mid-volume manufacturing Secondary operations, finishing, and assembly Experience or strong familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100D, aerospace manufacturing requirements, supplier quality and qualification, FAI, traceability, inspection requirements, nonconformance management, corrective actions, and supplier audits. Experience with ITAR-controlled manufacturing environments is highly desirable. Experience working with manufacturing suppliers in Mexico and the U.S.; experience with suppliers in Asia, particularly China, is highly desirable. Strong customer-facing, problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline preferred; equivalent extensive manufacturing experience may be considered. Advanced professional English required. Professional Spanish required.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE Engineer ( Industrial, Mechanical ) minimum of five years of quality or related discipline and/or equivalent combination of education and related experience Strong Communication Skills (both written and verbal) Spanish and advanced English (MIN 85%) Knowledge of quality systems: ISO 13485, 21 CFR 820 Experience with Risk Assessment tools such as HARMs, FMEA, MRB, CAPA, required. Knowledge of methodologies: Lean Manufacturing, APQP, FMEA, SPC Strong working knowledge of computer database systems, Microsoft applications, PC, and various software programs required. Ability to travel to other facilities to support quality audits and/or issues may be required.
