Requisitos del puesto: Escolaridad: Licenciatura o Ingeniería en Industrial, Mecánica, Materiales, Comercio Internacional o afín. Deseable Maestría o certificaciones en Supply Chain, Compras o Lean Manufacturing. Experiencia: 4 a 8 años en compras estratégicas o gestión de commodities. Idiomas: Inglés avanzado (≥80%, negociación y lectura técnica). Conocimientos técnicos: Sourcing estratégico y negociación avanzada. Metodologías VAVE, cost breakdown, Should Cost y TCO. Experiencia en procesos de manufactura (foams, materiales poliméricos, componentes de transducer como cones, coils y tinsels, forja en frío/caliente) y manejo de consumibles (adhesivos, soldadura, tapes). Manejo de ERP (SAP deseable) y herramientas de análisis de datos (Excel avanzado, Power BI). Uso de Inteligencia Artificial aplicada a compras: benchmarking de proveedores, predicción de precios, automatización de reportes/KPIs y generación de iniciativas VAVE. Competencias: Pensamiento estratégico y analítico, fuerte enfoque en reducción de costos, liderazgo de equipos multifuncionales, negociación avanzada, comunicación efectiva y mentalidad de mejora continua e innovación. Competencias organizacionales: Orientación a resultados, innovación (VAVE), trabajo colaborativo, integridad, enfoque al cliente interno y adopción de tecnologías digitales. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Procure electronic components, fabricated parts, and indirect materials in line with specifications and demand. Create, release, and manage purchase orders using ERP/MRP systems. Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships; monitor supplier performance on cost, delivery, and quality metrics. Negotiate pricing, lead times, and contract terms to achieve cost savings and secure supply. Work with Customer Service, Engineering, Production, and Quality to resolve material shortages or quality concerns. Ensure accurate purchasing and inventory data within the ERP system. Arrange transportation and logistics for inbound materials. Collaborate with Accounting on invoice reconciliation and returns. Drive and support Lean/Continuous Improvement initiatives in the supply chain. Actively participate in cross-functional problem solving and team projects. Maintain compliance with company quality and safety policies. QUALIFICATIONS Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred. And/ Or 2+ years of purchasing experience in manufacturing; electronics/EMS industry preferred. Strong ERP/MRP system experience (Epicor, SAP, Oracle, etc.). Proficiency in Excel Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills. Highly detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to complete IPC 610J Rev E training (provided).
