Senior SMT Engineer

Key responsibilities include: Lead innovation, productivity, and efficiency initiatives across SMT manufacturing operations. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and manufacturing transfer activities. Program, validate, and optimize SMT equipment to maximize throughput and operational performance. Monitor and improve key manufacturing metrics, including yield, scrap, OEE, productivity, and efficiency. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions. Develop and standardize process documentation, work instructions, and manufacturing procedures. Execute capacity studies, line balancing, SMED initiatives, and workflow optimization projects. Collaborate with Design and R&D teams by providing manufacturability feedback and process recommendations. Lead continuous improvement projects utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools such as DOE, CpK, MSA, A3, Pareto Analysis, and Fishbone Diagrams. Provide technical support to Production, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to ensure customer requirements are met. Develop, mentor, and train technical and engineering personnel to build high-performing teams and strengthen organizational capabilities. Education & Technical Expertise Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electromechanical, or related field). Advanced expertise in SMT and PCBA manufacturing processes. Programming and optimization of:Pick & Place (PnP) Screen Printer SMT Reflow Oven Wave Solder AOI / SPI Systems Lean Manufacturing. Six Sigma. Electronics and PCB Assembly manufacturing processes. Statistical process control and manufacturing performance analysis. Advanced English proficiency.
